.NET Developer - Co-op, Ontario Ministry of Education — September 2017 - April 2018
During my second year at U of T, I gained industry experience at the Ontario Ministry of Education. I contributed to the development of 3-tier webpages in a .NET environment.
Tech Used: ASP.NET backend with C#, an Angular 5 frontend built with TypeScript, Oracle 12c for the database layer using SQL, and Angular Material for UI components.
Software Engineer - Co-op, Kativik Regional Government — May 2019 - October 2019
I completed a second co-op term at the Kativik Regional Government. It was a unique experience in Northern Quebec, where I was tasked with modernizing websites and some logistics systems in a .NET environment.

Software Engineer - Morgan Stanley/Mthree — October 2021 - March 2022
My first professional experience after graduation was working for Morgan Stanley's Montreal branch as a contractor of Mthree.
My main role was to improve and maintain their mission-critical custom backend software, primarily written in Scala and Java.

.NET Developer - Global Growth Assets — May 2022 - May 2025
Shortly after my contracting role at Mthree/Morgan Stanley, I found a great opportunity closer to home.
I worked for the Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) branch of a medium sized asset management company called Global Growth Assets.
I contributed to a revamp of the customer facing RESP portal, which improved the user experience. I also fixed inefficiencies and bugs in the
RESP calculation logic, which lead to an overall reduction of unhappy customers calling our customer service representatives.
I was also tasked with implementing e-signature via a Docusign API integration into the RESP withdrawal process. After 3 years, I was unfortunately laid off to due to a downsizing of the company.
